Congratulations to Vasya Jones from Silverdale Baptist Academy for being named the Varsity Team Sports High School Athlete of the Week for the week of April 17, 2010.
The Seahawk soccer player had two 4-goal games and a 2-goal game during the week. He netted ten total goals for the week, good enough to snag the Athlete of the Week honors for the Chattanooga area.
A note about the award – each week Varsity Team Sports partners with Sgt. Football and Sound Off Sports to honor one Chattanooga-area high school athlete for their outstanding performance in their sport. Sgt.
