Since opening in 2006, Varsity Team Sports and Apparel has evolved in several ways. Initially, our focus was on sporting goods and team apparel. As our business has grown, we have expanded to service the entire custom apparel and sports market.

Who We Work With

The team side of our business works with colleges, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, intramural programs, recreational departments and adult sports leagues, and services all of their sporting goods and custom apparel needs. This includes uniforms, spirit wear, practice gear, field equipment, and more.

The corporate side of the business works directly with small businesses and other organizations including golf tournaments, non-profits, and even large corporations. This is a broader market, but our specialty is screen printing and embroidery on any type of apparel. The most common items we supply include polo shirts, jackets, hats, t-shirts and promotional items.

Areas We Service

Our outside sales reps call on a local market within about a 90 miles radius of Chattanooga, TN. We also have a retail location in Chattanooga where we always welcome walk-in customers. We have also expanded our presence throughout the United States as many teams and organizations find us on the internet. Our internet customers are paired with a sales rep who maintains contact through the phone and email. We ship many orders per week all over the country.

Last year we started a new tradition by naming the Varsity Team Sports Athlete of the Week each week. Now that school is back in session and football is set to begin this week, we will resume our Athlete of the Week honor by naming our first Athlete for this week.

Each week Varsity Team Sports will honor one Chattanooga-area high school athlete for their outstanding performance in their sport.  A representative from Varsity Team Sports will travel to the recipient’s school and present the award and plaque.  Click here to see previous Athlete of the Week recipients. Varsity Team Sports and Apparel is proud to announce that we have teamed up with Sgt. Football and Sound Off Sports to present a Chattanooga, TN area high school Athlete of the Week.  Each week the staffs of Varsity Team Sports and Sound Off Sports will determine the outstanding high school athlete who has performed the best in his or her sport.

Each winner will receive a t-shirt and plaque provided by Varsity Team Sports presented by Sgt. Football and a representative from Varsity Team Sports.  The presentation will occur on the student’s campus in front of coaches, teammates and/or student body.  Some winners will be invited to be interviewed the following Saturday on Sound Off Sports with Sgt. Football aired at 11:00AM on Talk Radio WGOW 102.3 FM.
